Barbara Retelle has had an interest in photography since her father gave her that first camera when she was a child. She has enjoyed taking photos for years just the for the pleasure of capturing the light and moment. Barbara started making photo cards to share with family and friends. Someone said she really should try to show her photos in galleries. Over the last 10 years, her photos have shown in a number of local shows and galleries as well as have been published in some local newspapers and newsletters. She continues to capture moments in time that tell a story or share a feeling. Some of the photos she has taken, have been used in educational slideshows that she has shared in elementary schools where she has taught. Now being semi-retired, Barbara has more time to improving her skills and devote to taking quality photos.
